Welcome, I’m Rafael! I identify myself as a cisgender gay male, my pronouns are he/him, and I’m an immigrant from Brazil (the Northeast side), living in Canada since 2017.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health (UFC, Brazil, 2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (UNIFOR, Brazil, 2012). I also have completed a Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health (Durham College, Canada, 2019). I work in the mental health field since 2012. In 2024-25, I'm completing a Bridging Program (BREM - MNLCT) to become a psychotherapist in Ontario.
While completing BREM, I’m working under the supervision of Debora Nitkin PhD, RP, RN.
I’m a Portuguese and English speaker, and work mainly with 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, immigrant, and polyamorous communities.
